1 micron = 1000 nanometersNosema spores are about 15 X 25 microns Most bee Viruses are in the 17 to 46 nm size rangeIt takes more than just a microscope BVS, IncViruses are really small

IVDS Detecting Viruses Based on the physics of nanometer sized particle movement through a charged atmosphere Electrospray converts liquid sample to aerosol state and charges the particlesDifferential Mobility Analyzer collects and groups particles by size Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) counts particles in each size group BVS, Inc.

Honeybee Virus Mapping Project In this project, we are targeting hobby beekeepers. To look at bees that are stationary and do not move from crop-to-crop to answer the question: What are the regional differences in viruses across the U.S.?   To map the distribution, frequency, diversity and intensity of viral loads around the country.

Honeybee Testing Why Test?

feeding, treatments, splits, requeening, buying bees, honey extraction and processing, labor, etc

feeding, treatments, splits, requeening, buying bees, honey extraction and processing, labor, etcYes, we do this so what?

Evaluation for each activity,

Evaluation for each activity, Based on what we know or have been taught

this is the way I was taught, this is the way my grandfather did it, this is the way that the USDA recommends, my friend does it this way and I will to because it worked for my friend, I went to the convention and this is what I took home with me, it sounds good, the national survey says…. , I read this study on this process, item, tool, feed, treatment, etc… .

ExamplesGoogle Alerts Pesticides Cause Physiological Stress in Bees: Research French Tribune Stress Alone Can Lead to Bee Colony Collapse Discovery News The factors have little in common, except that they all stress the bees. A single factor in a low dose is not enough to kill them, but the stress alone is enough to make the bees exhibit erratic behavior — such as orientation, mobility, defense and other skills — as though the they are slightly boozed..

Google AlertsThe stress experienced by individual bees over a prolonged period of time begins to affect the entire colony. And at a critical level of stress, a tipping point, the colony heads toward failure, suggests a study published today in Ecology Letters. .

Google AlertsSwedish treatment helps ward off colony collapse disorder Fresh Fruit Portal A natural product combining pollen and lactic acid may help boost the defense of bees against colony collapse disorder (CCD), which has led to the destruction ... A Lund University research team has made an astounding discovery – bees have a battery of healthy bacteria in their honey stomach that protects them. Giving these lactic acid bacteria back to bees boosts their natural immune system, helping them fight off disease.

Google AlertsThis study shows a clear trend of rising viral titres in bee populations over the course of a season from spring to autumn. Despite the application of acaricide, varroa mites and viral titres continued to rise while remaining below the levels observed in the untreated group. In many cases, the treatment only helped to control varroa loads and viral titres to a limited extend, and led to no significant reduction in the prevalence of virus-sick bees. In part, this may be explained by the recent findings [47], [48], that show negative impact of acaricides on honey bee immunity. Adding to this effect of acaricides, the observed failure of the treatment to reduce varroa numbers in several colonies might have led to immuno-suppression syndrome as observed in other studies [18], [55].

Google Alertshttp://www.vita-europe.com/diseases/viruses/ Viruses are commonly present in any honeybee colony. However infection of honeybees and the appearance of disease symptoms seems to depend to a large extent on other stress factors on the colony, such as lack of space, food or water, weather or infection by other means be they bacterial, fungal or mite.

Google AlertsChemical treatment for colony collapse disorder temporarily worsens viral infections in honeybeesJan 20, 2012 Read more at: http://phys.org/news/2012-01-chemical-treatment-colony-collapse-disorder.html#jCp . “However, this research suggests that for maintaining low infestation, regular alternative control treatments, such as organic methods, could be used for promoting better bee health overall. Further, since the virus is not reduced in the colony as rapidly as the mites are removed, our research underlines the importance of early mite removal to reduce virus levels in overwintering bees, to avoid colony losses.”

Box 6108, West Virginia University Morgantown, WV 26505-6108 USATelephone: 304-293-6023E-mail: jamrine@wvnvm.wvnet.edu We have found that several essential oils can either kill, or adversely affect varroa mites. Essential Oils have Two Modes of Action: 1) Toxicity by direct contact:When varroa mites contact essential oils such as wintergreen, patchouli, tea tree oil, et al., mixed into oil or grease, they are killed on contact--usually within a few minutes.

Google AlertsCanadian National NewspaperAccording to Dr. Michael Salla , there is a Military Extraterrestrial Industrial Complex or MIEC. Dr. John Lash suggests that lower dimensional entities rather than "Extraterrestrials" are piloting human vessels that are presiding over the destruction of our planet Earth. The ancient Pagan Gnostics referred to those lower dimensional entities as "Archons" [video below]. Does Dr. Lash's insights explain worsening negligence by elites on environmental issues?

Using these resources increase your knowledgeAll of these are resources that can be used for evaluation BVS, Inc.

some only require only reading, some require to change procedures, some require taking and sending samples , some require that you spend money to buy products or services, some require constant or regular application. BVS, Inc.

BVS, Inc is a tool for you to use, a gauge on your dash. It does cost money You have to collect bees and send them, you also have to read the report. BVS, Inc.
