The party scene created by editing in Photoshop gives the magazines cover an exciting feel for the audience and the array of colours will make my magazine visible to young people who are browsing in the shops as it will stand out to them. I also attracted my audience using my image by the placing of props and actors, the location of the hand directs the audiences attention towards the title of the magazine, which the name of my magazine is also suitable to the genre of the magazine which my audience would be aware of. The title was placed in a white font which is clearly visible against the background image, also as it is in capital letters to make it the most important piece of text on the page. . The target audience for Star Wars: The Force Awakens are old and new fans of the saga who want a Star Wars film just for them after the mostly disappointing prequel trilogy. The demographic is mostly male but also female as this film has a female lead. The main age group targeted ranges form 40-54 year olds who grew up with the original films as this movie is a direct sequel to the previous six films. Children are also part of the target audience as Star Wars is mostly considered as a family picture and Disney are a very children friendly company and wouldn’t want to loose that reputation. This is also important as it creates more fans for the franchise which is very important to maintaining the continuation of the saga.. For our audience feedback we wanted to target our target audience as they will be the people who will be watching our film the most, so therefor their feedback will be invaluable. Our target audience is males aged from 18 – 30 as we feel the sci-fi side to our film will appeal to them. Furthermore, we wanted a romantic element to our film so it would appeal to females as well. Additionally, we thought we would target a working class audience as we have an element of the poor against the rich in our film which could appeal to a working class audience.
