Worship As One:
Better Together
Virtual Worship Conference
Created by Troyer
, with the Circle of Congregations, an initiative of All Belong Center for Inclusive Education, with support from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship
Slide2“In Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.”Ephesians 2:22
Slide3There are many great worship conferences and many great disability conferences. But there have not been worship conferences specifically offering inclusive options for youth and adults to seek the Spirit of the Lord, welcoming His presence in the way that they are able to meaningfully worship Him. This conference seeks to do just that: Worship As One, for we are Better Together.
Slide4Slide5“1 Corinthians 12 is not a suggestion; it’s a picture and command of how God expects us to live with others in the body of Christ…
Slide6A church is to be His agent of healing in this world, and many persons with disabilities will testify to the hurt and pain they have experienced from exclusion.
Slide7Exclusion does NOT bless God. Inclusion, and our obedience to His heart, will bless God.”
-Barbara J. Newman
Slide8“Inclusion can be described as an atmosphere where all belong.” -S.S. Taylor
Slide9The Body of Christ is not complete unless all people are present and represented.
