You don’t need to be an aromatherapist to use oils.
In most cases, just rub it topically onto the skin.
There are three main ways to get oils into your system:
The English apply them topically – rub it on the skin
The French ingest them
The Germans diffuse and inhale them, which can be the most effective method because it doesn’t have to pass through the digestive system

How Long Do They Last?
Expulsion of essential oils takes place in three
to six hours in a normal, healthy body.

First mentioned in the Bible in Genesis, chapter 37 when t
he slave traders that took Joseph carried Spices, Balm, and Myrrh
Joseph's father was anointed with Myrrh for burial in Genesis
Jesus was given Frankincense, Myrrh, and gold
Oils are mentioned 1100 times directly or indirectly in scripture
Some of the oldest cultures used essential oils
It was only after World War II when essential oils were “

The science on their uses grows with every single year
Slide9Different Grades Of Oils
Authentic
Means the oils are 100 percent pure, with no added synthetics or other species in the bottle. These are Young Living oils! Manipulated
Means the final product has been made to smell more pleasing and less earthy. Some of the heavier molecules have been stripped out, or another species introduced, to enhance the aroma.
Perfume
Oils are not pure. They are mixed with synthetics to enhance the aroma. These oils have no therapeutic action. Frequently, solvents are used to extract the plant.
Synthetic
Oils are not true oils at all. They smell nothing like the original plant, and are typically labeled as “scented products.” These are synthetic.

If you spray your crop with pesticides,
you have more crop to distillIf you use a chemical solvent to extract the oil, you pull more out
If you dilute it with a cheaper oil or a carrier oil,
you stretch the oil you have distilled
To save money.
Most essential oils are sold more cheaply because companies cut corners!!

It takes a great deal of work to produce a tiny amount of essential oil!
60 thousand rose blossoms will provide only 1ounce of rose oil
Lavender is abundant: 220 pounds will provide 7 pounds of oil
Jasmine: It takes 8 million hand–picked blossoms
to produce 2.2 pounds of oil
Sandalwood trees need to be 30 years old and 30 feet tall
(and 90 percent dead) before Young Living will harvest them

and its molecules are much larger than those of essential oils
Why use a carrier oil?
It makes your essential oil go farther
Slows down absorption because the essential oil has to ping pong through the large molecules of the carrier oil to get into your skin
