Blue Nile State

Blue Nile State is located in the south-eastern part of Sudan is bordered to the south and southeast Ethiopia and from the north northeast

BNS covered an area of about 38.500 kilometers and a population according to the 2008 census (approximately 832,311) currently the population are increased in the Urban area due to conflict in the state.

Blue Nile state affected by the armed conflict for decades this tragedian conflict led to the displacement of a large number of the population and increased the numbers of displaced persons and higher rate of poverty and literacy among the internal displaced persons, most of BNS population concentrate in

those are main cities in the state,

Project objectives:

To Address emergency protection needs of newly displaced persons and other affected population, including women and children .

To distribute Hygiene kits to encourage women self confidants and dignity.

To distribute EVIs direct support

To distribute start up materials .

To promote community awareness on GBV and child protection and increase their access for protection activities.

Cover other state localities by protection and GBV service.

Increase awareness of the community regarding GBV and child protection issues

Conduct general protection survey in the state.
