Strategic Directions

current curriculas in B&H: deffined on the base of CCC made for eight – years education system have the same content regarding CCC 70%have a freedom in the process of creating the contents 30% In the meantime Bosnia and Herzegovina started with nine-year education system but the CCC is the same defined for eight- year education systemSlide7

Agency stearted with the developing of a new CCC in 2012 according to Strategic plan of Agency 2012 -2016 but first of all Agency created Kay Competences in Bosnia and HerzegovinaSlide8

Agency condacted a research in 2015 - Analysis of needs for CPD Educators in Preschools in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The analysis was carried out about current situation and priorities set for taking reform in this fieldResults of the reserch – document Analysis of the Educators needs for CPD The main aim of the research was identification priorities for reform CPD of Educators according to competencies defined in document Standards of the quality for work of the Educators, Pedagogues and Principals, published in 2011 Slide13

Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted a Basis of the Qualification Framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina and also Action Plan for Development and Implementation of the Qualification Framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2014 – 20120

Through Component 3 activities contribution was made to improving formal education and professional development of teachers, developing the Occupational Standards for Preschool Teachers and Education and Standards for Occupation for Teachers in Primary and Secondary Education Guidance for Preschool Teachers in Education and Guidance for Teacher in Primary and Secondary Educationhas also been developedSlide14

trainings are organized at cantonal levelTeacher Trainings implement PI – they have legal authorityAgency created document “ The Model for Continuing Proffesional Development of Pre-school Teachers, Teachers and Expert Assistants in Bosnia and Herzegovina” published in 2014.T

his model provided a general review and guidelines for CPD system and it might be used as a foudation for developing the process of accreditation programmes system for CPD of VET teachers

Agency realized a demo project in cooperation with The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Una

-Sana canton and the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla canton.The major goal of this project is to improve the CPD for VET teachers. This model has to provide establishing of the system of accreditation programmes for CPD in educational systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with their needs and conditions and to provide their transparency and coherence, too.The project aims to contribute to the competent institution's capacity consolidation in the field of CPD. The adjustment of the model for the CPD system improvement will involve all system parties interested in the project at the level of their competences Slide16

Una-sana and Tuzla Cantons in creating legislation, forming accredited bodies and implementing the process of accreditation programmes It may also be used in other entities and Cantons, where it is judged to be of valueSlide17
