HOUSING EXPENSES

The housing expenses to go to an Eastern College would be a tremendous difference from going to a Western College.

Going to an Eastern college would allow me to live at home and having to pay $0.00 per month.

As to going to a Western College and having to rent an apartment, which would cost me $817.00 per month.

If I was to attend a college in the West and live near the college I was attending, I would like to live with a roommate and split the cost it would be to rent an apartment (2 bed-room) which would then only cost me $405.50.

If I was to live by myself in a one bedroom apartment it would cost me $655.00 per month.

Overall the cost to go to a Western College and live with a roommate and split the rent would be the best way to go.Slide3

UTILITY EXPENSES

Utility expenses to go to a Western or Eastern college wouldn’t be that big of a difference.

It would cost me an estimate of $290.00 per month at a Western College and it would cost me $280.00 per month if I was to go to an Eastern College.Slide4

FOOD EXPENSES

For food I would like to eat mostly at home and just having to pay for groceries.

I would cost me about $260.00 per month to pay for groceries if I was to attend a Western College.

If I was to attend an Eastern college living at home I wouldn’t have to pay for groceries but I would have to pay to Dine-Out which would cost me about $470.00 per month. Slide5

TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES

Transportation to live at a Western College would cost me the same amount it would cost me to live at an Eastern College. Which is about $425.00 per month. Slide6

CLOTHING EXPENSES

Clothing expenses would again cost me the same amount of money if I was to go to an Eastern or Western college which is about $100.00 per month.Slide7

HEALTH CARE EXPENSES

Health care expenses all depend on if I choose to pay for it through my job or if I plan on paying for it on my own.

When I am in college I plan on paying for my health care through work which would cost me $75.00 per month.

Which ever school I attend whether it be in Eastern or Western would cost the same.

In the end it all depends on the company I work for.Slide8

ENTERTAINMENT EXPENSES

Entertainment expenses would be things that I don’t need but want: Television (Cable), Internet, Games, ETC..

It would cost me about $125.00 per month. It would be the same amount of money as it would be to go to school and live in Corvallis or Ontario.Slide9

PERSONAL CARE EXPENSES

Personal care expenses: things that I don’t need but want.

Such as, getting hair/nails done, massage, or tanning, ETC..

It would cost me about $75.00 per month no matter where I lived. Slide10

MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES

Miscellaneous expenses would cost me about $250.00 per month.

This would be an expense that I would need to pay to keep myself healthy.

Need not a want.
