Idea Sketch

Objective: The student will be able to differentiate between the mechanisms of energy transfer.

Make strategic use of digital media (e.g., textual, graphical, audio, visual, and interactive elements) in presentations to enhance understanding of findings, reasoning, and evidence and to add interest.

Download Idea Sketch app and open.

In the top left hand corner of the screen, tap the plus sign.

Tap the plus sign in the bottom right of the screen and type in your main idea bubble (energy transfer). You may also change the color and shape of the bubble. The tap “Done.”

Tap on your original bubble so that is has a blue border then tap the plus sign. You will then add a bubble that will branch off of the original. The process is the same throughout.

You should have one main bubble, three secondary bubbles (containing types of energy transfer) and three tertiary bubbles (containing examples and description of the mechanisms).

When you have completed all of your bubble, tap the ‘”<“ in the top left and tap “Edit”, “Untitled” and then the second icon at the bottom. Title your thinking map with your first and last name and then tap “Save” and “Done”.

Return to the diagram view of your thinking map, zoom out so that the whole diagram can be seen and take a screenshot. Email me the screenshot.
