Hotel & Transportation InformationGetting to DetroitBy Air: Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is located approximately 20 miles from Motor City Casino Detroit. To get from Detroit Metro Airport to your destination: You can rent a car, take a taxi or limo. The rental car campus is located on the northeast corner of the Airport along Lucas Drive, where each brand (or group of brands) operates its own facility connected to the terminals by their own courtesy shuttles. All rental car shuttles pick-up and drop-off at each terminal’s Ground Transportation Center. To access your rental car agency, once you have claimed any checked luggage, follow terminal signs to Ground Transportation. Taxis are available outside the baggage claim area. There are no public transportation options available to get downtown from DTW.
