Tuesday, 8/6: 1) BW: You have 7 minutes to finish your brainstorming handout from yesterday. If you finished yesterday, look it over, narrow down your thoughts, and decide what you want to write about for your personal narrative. 2) Descriptive scenario group activity **Everything is getting pushed back a day, which means block day, instead of today, we will be drafting, and your final due date is now 8/13 instead of 8/12 . Reminders : You can bring your laptops on days we are writing You will need (2) printed copies of your narrative RD for workshop day THIS FRIDAY! 8/9! YOU WILL GET A 0 IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE B/C THAT MEANS YOU CAN’T PARTICIPATE IN WORKSHOP ! Open house this Wednesday night; fill out the schedule form for your parents

Descriptive scenario group activity: You and your group will be given a random scenario . Using the adjective list, your group must write a descriptive, in depth story, using a minimum of 10 adjectives from the list . Other things you must include: dialogue, imagery, and figurative language (personification, simile, etc .) Length: 8-10 sentences Rating: PG13 Are we presenting these? YASSSSSSSSSSS
