Duty free entry if: · One shipment only. · Shipment should arrive within the first 90 days after the client gets his Rumanian ID Card. If after 90 days, customs duties will be charged. A 22% VAT is apply on total charges. Diplomats’ removals Foreigners All the documents required need to be provided by the local employer: · Copy of passport or · Copy of ID card (issued by Rumanian Authorities). · 2 copies of the import customs declaration issued by the Embassy from Bucharest. · Inventory list in duplicate in Rumanian and stamped by the Embassy. Duty Works of Art, Antiques, Musical instruments, chinaware, cristalware, rugs 2 photos of each. Importation allowed. Old books Detailed list of contents (titles, authors and year of issue). Precious metal objects (jewellery, gold ware, silverware) 2 photos of each. Importation restricted. Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks Importation prohibited. Drugs, Narcotics, pornographic literature Importation prohibited.
