Shrawan grew up in an orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal. In 1985, he got an opportunity to pursue his BA in Business Administration in the U.S. In 2001 Shrawan founded the Ama Foundation, a home providing care and education for some of the most underprivileged children of Nepal. With his love of cooking and bringing friends together, he founded Curry Without Worry™ in 2006 and travels Jimmy grew up working in his family’s restaurants and has been cooking professionally in San Francisco for 6 years. He has been a core volunteer at Martin De Porres Hospitality in Potrero Hill for a year and half.Growing up in Syria, Maen saw the effects of poor access to food and how this severely affected the quality of life in the community. When he immigrated to the graduate of UC Berkeley and Imperial College of London. He was co-founder and Director of Operations at Feeding Forward. He is passionate about food justice, empathy, and circular economy.Hooman is a graduate of UC Davis and UC Hastings, College of the Law. Prior to advice. Hooman also has many years of experience working in the corporate food industry, and is very familiar with the amount of food waste that is created at every stage of the process. He is passionate about sustainability, environmen-tal protection, and food justice.At Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco, Karen serves as lead for strategic planning and program design. She represents ECS to a variety of community groups including the San Francisco Food Security Task Force. Prior to ECS she served as Managing Attorney at HomeBase/The Center for Common Concerns providing legal and technical assistance to communities and agencies working toward ending homelessness. She has served on the Board of Directors of The Gubbio Project, St. Anthony’s and the Tenderloin Neighborhood Develop-ment Corporation.Over the last ten years he has been involved with work around hunger as a mem-ber of the San Francisco Food Security Task Force, Tenderloin Hunger Task Force and former Manager of the St. Anthony Dining Room.
