Dr. Jacob (Yaki) Dayan

Dr. Dayan is an EdTech visionary, ecosystem builder, and a recognized expert in education innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2014 he founded EdTech Israel with the vision to transform startup-nation to EdTech-nation.

Dr. Dayan founded the Israeli EdTech Summit in 2016, establishing Israel’s first and only annual global Summit, co-organized with the NY-based East Wind Advisors, in collaboration with Tel Aviv University, Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Social Equality.

Dayan holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from the well-renowned Technion in Haifa (1982), and a PhD in Education from the University of Haifa (2014).

Prof. Orit Hazzan

Professor Orit Hazzan is the Technion Dean of Undergraduate Studies. Hazzan holds four Technion academic degrees: three degrees of the Department of Education in Technology and Science and an MBA from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (2000). Following her post-doc position in Education Development Center - EDC (1995-1996), Hazzan joined the Department of Education in Technology and Science in October 2000. Her research focuses on computer science and software engineering education.
