NV Department of Education Moral Turpitude MatrixLink to Administrative Regulation R136 The following offenses shall be considered to be offenses involving moral turpitude for purposes of NRS 391.033 , and will result in: Lifetime d isqualification upon c onviction: Disqualification for 10 years from the date of conviction : Aiding a person in the commission of a felony or gross misdemeanor Animal crueltyArsonAssault with a deadly weaponBattery, including domestic violence Unlawful possession or use of a firearm, explosive, or other weapon Contributing to the delinquency of a minor DUI/DWI alcohol or prohibited substance (second or subsequent offense, or felony DUI) Note that:A conviction for attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation to commit any offense listed above shall be considered an offense involving moral turpitude.A first conviction for misdemeanor battery (including domestic violence), misdemeanor DUI/DWI, or misdemeanor theft in any form (e.g. petit larceny, shoplifting, etc.) shall not be considered an offense involving moral turpitude. .
