ISO 50001 October 26, 2023 Slide 6 Energy Management System Certification ISO 50001 is an international standard that provides a systematic approach for organizations to improve energy performance and reduce energy consumption.
It helps businesses and institutions establish energy management systems to track, analyze, and optimize energy usage, ultimately promoting sustainability by reducing their environmental footprint and energy costs.
This standard is applicable to any organization regardless of its type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture or the products and services.
Key Numbers * This estimation is purely related to the impact of certification process on total project costs.
Source https://www.usgbc.org/ October 26, 2023 Slide 10 Advantages ROI Average cost paid to USGBC for LEED® certification: 5.000$
Average cost for LEED® implementation 1-3% of project’s total budget cost*
Average return on investment: 1-3 years Reduced operating costs:
30-40% saving on energy and water.
2-10% increase in employee productivity.
Higher resale value:
LEED® building command rents as much as 10% above market value.
Leas up rates as much as 20% above average.
ABB AbilityTM Energy Manager Contribution October 26, 2023 Slide 15 Credit: Renewable Energy Production ABB Ability Energy Manager contributes “indirectly” to the credit requirements.
ABB Ability Energy Manager allows to monitor renewable energy production of an operational building measuring:
renewable energy produced on site Single or multi-site information is processed to display on-site power generation trends.
Both the compelling user interface and the intuitive and immediate availability of data help users to check up on the most relevant information related to different facilities.
