About the Panther Scholars Program A highly competitive academic initiative designed to challenge and support students as they prepare for the academic demands of high school and beyond. Specialized Academic Track Scholars follow a dedicated academic track that challenges them and builds readiness for high school coursework. Ongoing Progress Monitoring Teachers and staff track each scholar's grades, conduct, and attendance throughout the year, this way support arrives early. Mentorship Scholars receive ongoing mentorship that supports their academic growth, character, and confidence. Individualized Counseling Academic advisors meet with each scholar to guide academic choices and future planning goals. Why This Trip Matters American history comes alive when students walk the same cobblestones as the Founders. This trip turns the textbook into a four-day, hands-on classroom. Living History Students walk the Freedom Trail with a costumed guide, retrace the British march to Concord, and climb Bunker Hill — history they will remember far longer than a chapter in a book. Real Academic Value The itinerary follows the American Revolution stop by stop, plus guided campus tours of Harvard and MIT. Safety First A Flamingo tour director travels with the group, chaperones stay at a 1:10 ratio, and a security agent guards the hotel every night. Growth & Independence Students build confidence, teamwork, and independence while traveling with classmates and teachers they already know and trust.
