Jesus teaches the crowds from a hillside. This is often described as the Sermon on the Mount.
God is our father . He loves us, cares for us and wants the best for us
When we trust God everything else fits into place Now what
Let us reflect on how we know God loves us. Find out more about the five love languages
This half term enjoy God’s creation
Practise being aware of God’s love. So What
We need to live in the truth that God loves us
We are each different in the way that we will receive His love.
We need to build time for God in our lives, personally and with other people.<br>

And He holds us in His hands. He’s higher than a skyscraper
And deeper than a submarine.
He’s wider than the universe
And beyond my wildest dreams.
He’s known me and He’s loved me
Before the world began.
How wonderful to be a part
Of God’s amazing plan.<br>

slide7. Last week…… Jesus Taught us how to pray<br>
slide8. This week…… Jesus teaches about God’s love<br>
slide10. The Bible says….. I tell you not to worry about your life. Don't worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn't life more than food or clothing? Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them.
Aren't you worth much more than birds?<br>
slide11. The Bible says….. Can worry make you live longer? Why worry about clothes? Look how the wild flowers grow. They don't work hard to make their clothes. But I tell you that Solomon with all his wealth wasn't as well clothed as one of them. God gives such beauty to everything that grows in the fields, even though it is here today and thrown into a fire tomorrow.
God will surely do even more for you! Why do you have such little faith?<br>
slide12. The Bible says….. Don't worry and ask yourselves, “Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?” Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows you need all of these.
But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.

Jesus sat people down in a quiet place with beautiful surroundings so that he could get them to step away from everyday pressures and reflect of changes needed in their lifestyles.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
