Page 15 The KINGDOM Future “The KINGDOM Future” for Israel is not the same as “the KINGDOM Future” for the Church.
In fact, “the KINGDOM Future” for the Church cannot come to earth until the nation of Israel calls out to Jesus “blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Matt. 23:39).
After Israel calls out to Jesus, then God will restore the kingdom to Israel (Acts 1:6), then “the KINGDOM Future” will come to the earth for the Church.
6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future Restoration is clearly addressed in Acts 3:17-21: Acts 3:17–21 (NKJV)
17 “Yet now, brethren [Israel], I know that you did it [crucified Jesus] in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your [Israel’s] sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [to Israel and the nations of the world] ,
20 and that He may send Jesus Christ [the King] who was preached to you before, Restoration is clearly explained in the book of Acts:
46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you Israel’s Jews first; but since you reject it, …we turn to the Gentiles.

Page 12 The KINGDOM Present Israel is blinded in part until the full number of Gentiles have come into the Church:
Rom 11:25 -26NKJV
25 For I do not desire, brethren [Church], that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles [Church] has come in.

Page 15 The KINGDOM Future Once Israel, as a nation, accepts Jesus as Messiah, they will complete their role as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, that which they failed to fulfill in the Old Testament (Exo. 19:5-6; Isa. 61:6).
It is only then that “the KINGDOM Future” will become reality for Israel (and the nations).
“The KINGDOM Future” on earth for the Church is dependent upon Israel coming to Christ.
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future “The KINGDOM Future” is to be fully revealed on earth in peace and prosperity.
The Old Testament goes into great detail concerning the coming visible manifestation of the kingdom’s peace and prosperity on Earth with Israel as His headquarters.
For this BLESSING to take place, Israel must exist as a great NATION, in the LAND of promise, with Jesus reigning as their Messiah.
Only then can “all the families of the earth” be BLESSED (Gen. 12:3b).
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future Israel will forever have control of all the land that God promised to them (Gen. 13:14-15; 15:18; 17:7-8); and Israel will be a great NATION, powerful and numerous (Gen. 13:16; 17:5-6; 18:18). All nations will serve and bow down to Israel (Isa. 49:23; 60:12-14) with Shiloh ruling the world for all to see (Gen. 49:10). Seven reasons why the KINGDOM Future is visibly manifested for all to see:
13
Isaiah 49:23 (NKJV)
23 Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you [to Israel] with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.” All nations will serve and bow down to Israel The KINGDOM Future Page 15
Isaiah 60:12, 14 (NKJV)
12 For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you [Zion / Israel] shall perish, And those nations shall be utterly ruined.
14 Also the sons of those who afflicted you [Zion / Israel] shall come bowing to you, And all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet…; All nations will serve and bow down to Israel The KINGDOM Future Page 15
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future Seven reasons why the KINGDOM Future is visibly manifested for all to see: God’s Kingdom will not be made visible to the world until all Jews of Israel are back in their LAND after their dispersion among the nations (Ezek. 37:21-28; Isa. 62:1-5). This can be seen taking place today (2012).
God’s Kingdom will become visible only after Israel is back in their LAND Ezekiel 37:21–28 (NKJV)
21 “say to them, …“Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;
22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. Page 15
23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols…, but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
24 “David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. Page 15
Ezekiel 37:25–26 (NKJV)
25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, …forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, …an everlasting covenant…; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. God’s Kingdom will become visible only after Israel is back in their LAND Page 15
God’s Kingdom will become visible only after Israel is back in their LAND Isaiah 62:1–2 (NKJV)
1 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings [shall see] your glory.... Page 15
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future God’s wrath will be visible when He confronts the kings of the earth who plot in vain against Him. (Psalm 2). -- Rev. 19 gives details of this forceful takeover for all to see… Seven reasons why the KINGDOM Future is visibly manifested for all to see:
Page 15 The KINGDOM Future All the world will observe with their eyes Israel living in their LAND as a kingdom of priests, living on the wealth of the nations for all to see (Exo. 19:5-6; Deu. 26:18; Isa. 60:5, 11-16; 61:6). Seven reasons why the KINGDOM Future is visibly manifested for all to see:
23
As a kingdom of priests Israel will live on the wealth of the Nations for all to see: Exodus 19:5–6 (NKJV)
5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” Page 15
Isaiah 60:5 (NKJV) Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. Isaiah 61:6 (NKJV) But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory [Gentiles love to glory in their riches] you shall boast [look at what the LORD did for us!]. 2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains…, And all nations [peoples] shall flow to it.
3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up [literally-to be there in person] to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. “The Church in the KINGDOM Future”
How does the Gentile Church fit? Before the Gentile Church enters into “the KINGDOM Future,” it must be Raptured and taken to God’s mansions that have been prepared for them (John 14:2-3; Rom. 11:25).
After seven years, the Gentile Church then returns to earth to rule and reign with Jesus. Page 18
How does the Nation of Israel fit into “The KINGDOM Future?” With Jesus as “King of the world,” the Twelve Disciples and resurrected Old Testament saints will rule and reign over the LAND of Israel.

What is the Judgment Seat of Christ?
About seven years prior to the restoration of the kingdom [the Kingdom Future] to Israel and shortly after the Rapture, all believers in Christ must experience the judgment (Bema) seat of Christ.
The Bema seat judgment is not the same as the Great White Throne judgment where all unbelievers are condemned to eternity in a Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:11-15)
Rather, the Bema judgment rewards believers for “works of service.” Page 18
Incorruptible Crown for those who “overcome” by pressing on steadfastly (1 Cor. 9:24-25);
Crown of Rejoicing for those who “overcome” by winning souls (1 Thess. 2:19) ;
Crown of Life for those who “overcome” by persevering through trials and suffering (James 1:12 / Rev. 2:10) ;
Crown of Glory for those who “overcome” by feeding (teaching) the flock (1 Pet. 5:4) ;

Does being “good” get you into heaven? “The Power”and Faith Ephesians 2:8–9 (NKJV)

“The Power”and Faith Salvation is made possible only by God’s grace:
Matthew 19:24–26 (NKJV)
24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved [enter into heaven]?”
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Page 1
56
Matt. 24:13 (NKJV) But he who endures [works hard enough] to the end shall be saved.
James 1:12 (NKJV) Blessed is the man who endures [by his own power] temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life [heaven] which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
1 Tim. 4:16 (NIV) Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere [work hard by your own power] in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. Is heaven attained by a “believers power” to en-dure, persevere, and do good?: Page 1
57
The above passages are not about the believer’s own power to gain entrance into heaven; since only God’s power can do that!
Rather, these passages focus on believers choosing to persevere in faith to help carry them through trials.
What kind of faith gives you power to “persevere” in trials? “The Power”and Faith Page 1
58
Jesus provides an example what faith can do:
Matthew 21:21 (NKJV)
21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. “The Power”and Faith Page 1
59
Only God’s power can cast a mountain into the sea.
This means that if a believer taps into God’s power by his own faith, and if it is God’s will, then the mountain will be cast into the sea.
This fits quite well with Biblical faith. Faith is “receptivity of God’s activity.”
Notice, faith is my receptivity to what God wants to accomplish with His activity. “The Power”and Faith Page 1
60
If God’s activity does not include moving a mountain into the sea, then no matter how much faith I have to move it into the sea, the mountain will not be moved.

61
On the other hand, the kind of faith that perseveres through trials is always available to all believers.
God expects all believes to “live by faith,” that they may persevere through trials.
We read that those who are justified will “live by faith!” (Gal. 3:11-12; Rom. 1:17). “The Power”and Faith Page 1
We read that those who are justified will “live by faith!” (Gal. 3:11-12; Rom. 1:17). “The Power”and Faith Page 1
62
This is what James meant when he wrote the following:
James 2:24 (NKJV) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
In other words, James emphasizes that “the just shall live [do works] by faith.”
They shall persevere, or “overcome…,” as part of the faith process. “The Power”and Faith Page 1
63
Matthew 24:13, James 1:12, and 1 Timothy 4:16 are not about gaining entrance into heaven by the power of the believer!
1 Timothy 4:16 exhorts believers to persevere, or “overcome,” through faith by applying sound doctrine to their life.
1 Tim. 4:16 (NIV) Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere [or overcome] in them [in sound doctrine, e.g., “it is by grace that you are saved…”], because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. “The Power”and Faith Page 1
64
If sound doctrine, such as salvation by grace through faith alone, is not applied to the believer’s life, then the believer will not go to heaven.
The power of the believer comes from faith; and faith alone! As the believer chooses to “live [work out his own salvation with fear and trembling] by faith” then He is justified. “The Power”and Faith Page 1
65
With this both James and Paul agree “The Power”and Faith James 2:24 (NIV) You see that a person is considered righteous [justified] by what they do [works] and not by faith alone. Romans 3:31 (NIV) Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law [by our works]. Page 2
66
“Enduring and persevering” has to do with the state of the believer’s faith.
The “state” [or condition] of the believer’s faith is not the same “state” as a demon’s faith, as James points out… “The Power”and Faith Page 2
67
James 2:19 (NKJV) You believe that there is one God…. Even the demons believe, and tremble!
That Demons believe God exists is one thing…, it is quite another for a believer!
…a believer’s faith is activated by his choice when he appropriates “God’s” activity into his life, and then he “lives by faith.” Demons do not do that---they simply tremble!
A believer “works out his salvation in fear and trembling” (Phil 2:12) because “choices” are involved while he seeks to please God. “The Power”and Faith Page 2
68
KEY POINT: By continually being aware of my faith choices, then I will have greater opportunity to “overcome,” by the power of God. “The Power”and Faith Page 2
69
God expects every believer, not only to be “receptive” of God’s activity (which saves him), but to carry out God’s “activity” in this life by “overcoming” (which earns him rewards). Thus, Paul writes:
Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
14 I press [work hard/carry out God’s activities] toward the goal for the prize [“earned” reward] of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “The Power”and Faith Page 2
70
The power of the believer comes as he chooses to participate in “God’s activity” by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. “The Power”and Faith This process is called
experiential overcoming Page 2
experiential overcoming Page 2
71
First, the believer must be “receptive” of God’s work (the free gift of salvation-Rom. 5:15-18). “The Power”and Faith Romans 5:18 (NKJV)
18 Therefore, as through one man’s [Adam’s] offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation [unable to enter heaven], even so through one Man’s righteous act [through Jesus] the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life [able to enter into heaven---thank you Jesus ] . Page 2
Page 2
72
First, the believer must be “receptive” of God’s work (the free gift of salvation-Rom. 5:15-18).
After being saved, the believer must “put into action” the confidence gained by that faith (earned rewards as we run the race-Phil. 3:14).
This is the kind of faith that chooses to be “receptive of God’s activity;” it is also the same faith that saves the believer!
Demons are not receptive of God’s activity; in fact, they oppose God’s activity! “The Power”and Faith Page 2
Galatians 5:19 (NKJV) Now the works of the flesh [that which is opposed to “God’s activity”] are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. “The Power”and Faith Page 2
75
“The Power”and Faith Those who “practice” sin in their lives are not “receptive of God’s activities,” and, therefore, do not have saving faith, thus will not gain entrance into heaven.
Those who are “receptive of God’s activities” will produce fruit according to God’s power:
Galatians 5:22–23 (NKJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Page 2
“The Power”and Faith Those who are “receptive of God’s activities” will “walk in the Spirit” and not please the lusts of the flesh (Gal. 5:16, 25; Rom. 8:1, 4).

Three Types of Christians In Revelation 2-3, where Jesus addresses the seven churches, we find “professing Christians” who are not saved.
We will now do a brief survey of these seven churches to discover the three types of Christians that Jesus addresses…
By way of review, Christians can earn rewards, but they can also lose rewards, even though they are saved! Page 3
