slide2. Page 15 The KINGDOM Future “The KINGDOM Future” for Israel is not the same as “the KINGDOM Future” for the Church.
In fact, “the KINGDOM Future” for the Church cannot come to earth until the nation of Israel calls out to Jesus “blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Matt. 23:39).
After Israel calls out to Jesus, then God will restore the kingdom to Israel (Acts 1:6), then “the KINGDOM Future” will come to the earth for the Church.<br>

slide10. Page 15 The KINGDOM Future Once Israel, as a nation, accepts Jesus as Messiah, they will complete their role as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, that which they failed to fulfill in the Old Testament (Exo. 19:5-6; Isa. 61:6).
It is only then that “the KINGDOM Future” will become reality for Israel (and the nations).
“The KINGDOM Future” on earth for the Church is dependent upon Israel coming to Christ.<br>

The Old Testament goes into great detail concerning the coming visible manifestation of the kingdom’s peace and prosperity on Earth with Israel as His headquarters.
For this BLESSING to take place, Israel must exist as a great NATION, in the LAND of promise, with Jesus reigning as their Messiah.
Only then can “all the families of the earth” be BLESSED (Gen. 12:3b).<br>

About seven years prior to the restoration of the kingdom [the Kingdom Future] to Israel and shortly after the Rapture, all believers in Christ must experience the judgment (Bema) seat of Christ.
The Bema seat judgment is not the same as the Great White Throne judgment where all unbelievers are condemned to eternity in a Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:11-15)
Rather, the Bema judgment rewards believers for “works of service.” Page 18<br>

slide57. The above passages are not about the believer’s own power to gain entrance into heaven; since only God’s power can do that!

Rather, these passages focus on believers choosing to persevere in faith to help carry them through trials.

What kind of faith gives you power to “persevere” in trials? “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide58. Jesus provides an example what faith can do:

Matthew 21:21 (NKJV)
21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide59. Only God’s power can cast a mountain into the sea.
This means that if a believer taps into God’s power by his own faith, and if it is God’s will, then the mountain will be cast into the sea.
This fits quite well with Biblical faith. Faith is “receptivity of God’s activity.”
Notice, faith is my receptivity to what God wants to accomplish with His activity. “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide60. If God’s activity does not include moving a mountain into the sea, then no matter how much faith I have to move it into the sea, the mountain will not be moved.
Remember that Jesus prayed in the garden “not my will be done, but yours.” “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide61. On the other hand, the kind of faith that perseveres through trials is always available to all believers.
God expects all believes to “live by faith,” that they may persevere through trials.
We read that those who are justified will “live by faith!” (Gal. 3:11-12; Rom. 1:17). “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide62. This is what James meant when he wrote the following:
James 2:24 (NKJV) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
In other words, James emphasizes that “the just shall live [do works] by faith.”
They shall persevere, or “overcome…,” as part of the faith process. “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide63. Matthew 24:13, James 1:12, and 1 Timothy 4:16 are not about gaining entrance into heaven by the power of the believer!
1 Timothy 4:16 exhorts believers to persevere, or “overcome,” through faith by applying sound doctrine to their life.
1 Tim. 4:16 (NIV) Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere [or overcome] in them [in sound doctrine, e.g., “it is by grace that you are saved…”], because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide64. If sound doctrine, such as salvation by grace through faith alone, is not applied to the believer’s life, then the believer will not go to heaven.
The power of the believer comes from faith; and faith alone! As the believer chooses to “live [work out his own salvation with fear and trembling] by faith” then He is justified. “The Power”and Faith Page 1<br>
slide65. With this both James and Paul agree “The Power”and Faith James 2:24 (NIV) You see that a person is considered righteous [justified] by what they do [works] and not by faith alone. slide66. “Enduring and persevering” has to do with the state of the believer’s faith.
The “state” [or condition] of the believer’s faith is not the same “state” as a demon’s faith, as James points out… “The Power”and Faith Page 2<br>

That Demons believe God exists is one thing…, it is quite another for a believer!
…a believer’s faith is activated by his choice when he appropriates “God’s” activity into his life, and then he “lives by faith.” Demons do not do that---they simply tremble!
A believer “works out his salvation in fear and trembling” (Phil 2:12) because “choices” are involved while he seeks to please God. “The Power”and Faith Page 2<br>
slide68. KEY POINT: By continually being aware of my faith choices, then I will have greater opportunity to “overcome,” by the power of God. “The Power”and Faith Page 2<br>
slide69. God expects every believer, not only to be “receptive” of God’s activity (which saves him), but to carry out God’s “activity” in this life by “overcoming” (which earns him rewards). Thus, Paul writes:

After being saved, the believer must “put into action” the confidence gained by that faith (earned rewards as we run the race-Phil. 3:14).
This is the kind of faith that chooses to be “receptive of God’s activity;” it is also the same faith that saves the believer!
