BLINDNESS ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
Total absence of the perception of light
Best corrected visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 in the better eye
Limitation of field of vision to 20 degrees or worse<br>

LOW VISION Impairment of vision where best corrected visual acuity is 6/18 to 6/60 in the better eye
Impairment of field of vision in any one of the following :
Reduction to less than 50 degrees
Hemianopia is macular involvement
Altitudinal defect involving lower field<br>
