Our CUBE teachers also reinforce learning during the weekly CUBE lessons. We spiral back to previous learning to keep skills fresh. We consistently monitor student learning and offer extra help in the classroom to ensure understanding. Formal assessments are administered quarterly.
LiteracyReading strategies and skills are introduced whole group and then reinforced through Literacy Stations and Guided Reading groups. Guided Reading: Students are grouped by reading ability and receive small group reading instruction . Shared reading is an interactive reading strategy in which the class engages in a shared, choral reading experience guided by a teacher.
