More specifically, can we combine the quantitative and qualitative approaches at the same time while we are conducting a study on a certain subject? To answer that question, we need to think over several considerations; some of them are at the philosophical, theoretical and practical levels. The philosophical level concerns how knowledge is obtained; the theoretical one implies theoretical common grounds underlying the approach ; and the practical one is the level where methods and techniques are used operationally in the actual study. .
