– The Leo Club Program became an official district project and started to grow rapidly in Pennsylvania and other surrounding areas

To make available to Lions clubs an activity allowing them to serve the needs of youth in their respective areas
To provide the youth of the world with an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national, and international communities
To promote service activities among young people and offer them an opportunity to develop the individual qualities of Leadership, Experience and Opportunity
To unite Leos in friendship, fellowship and mutual understanding
