When both her girls left for school, she look to fill her time To work Nancy chose to go
She enjoyed hands on tasks, but was good with numbers too Her finance skills she did show
Started at the paper, the books were in rough shape Her new job was to make numbers flow

Attention to detail, according to her, Is the most important thing
And making sure there are no mistakes Is another talent Nancy brings

Each summer she visits her Rhode Island home She loves to walk
on the
beach
She watches the sunset out on her deck
Her family within reach

There is talk of switching it all to online And ridding the paper for good
But Nancy prefers to hold in her hands
The way she believes that it should

she knows that her job Will remain secure and good
