Tips for Calming the Storm

Priority 1 = interpersonal relationships developed during “forming”Believe in the best intentions of others, bring empathy

Dig for what is triggering the opposing interests What don’t you know about the situation from the others perspective?Use facts, not assumptionsUse a respectful communication style 

Avoid attacking or dismissive languageLet the other person talkManage your emotions
