What is sexual sin

The bible gives us clear and undeniable scriptural instruction as to what is ok sexually and what is not. Lets take a look at the word of God

First of all lets see what God obviously approves:

Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Gen 2:24 That is why a man will leave his father and mother and will be united with his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Pro_18:22 Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour

of the LORD.

Pro_5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Definition of husband:

a male partner in a marriage

In order to see what is sexually immoral lets take a look at what God forbids.

Adultery is defined as voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband

Lets look at the bible:

Exo_20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. Lev_20:10 And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, even he that

Matthew_5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,

Luke_18:20 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. There are 33 verses dealing with adultery

Fornication is next, Fornication is defined as:

consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other

Now listen to the word of God-

Act_15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

1Co_6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them.

Now the body is not for fornication,

but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

1Co_6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body. All sin is destructive but sexual sin is against your own body defiling the temple of the Holy Spirit. Do we really want to take the Holy Spirit into an un-holy sexual encounter ?

Incest in the Bible refers to sexual relations between certain close kinship relationships which are prohibited . Lets look at the scriptures including other defilements

Lev 18:6 "Never have sexual intercourse with anyone related to you by blood. I am the LORD.

Lev 18:7 "Never have sexual intercourse with your mother. She is your own mother. Never have sexual intercourse with her.

Lev 18:8 Never have sexual intercourse with your stepmother. She is related to you through your father. Lev 18:9 Never have sexual intercourse with your stepsister, whether she is your father's daughter or your mother's daughter. It makes no difference whether or not she was born in your house.

Lev 18:10 Never have sexual intercourse with your granddaughter, whether she is your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter, because she is related to you.

Lev 18:11 Never have sexual intercourse with a daughter of your father and his wife. She is your own sister.

Lev 18:12 Never have sexual intercourse with your father's sister. She is your paternal aunt.

Lev 18:13 Never have sexual intercourse with your mother's sister. She is your maternal aunt. Lev 18:14 Never have sexual intercourse with the wife of your father's brother. She, too, is your aunt.

Lev 18:15 Never have sexual intercourse with your daughter-in-law. She is your son's wife. Never have sexual intercourse with her.

Lev 18:16 Never have sexual intercourse with your sister-in-law. She is your brother's wife.

Lev 18:20 Never have sexual intercourse with your neighbor's wife and become unclean with her.

Lev 18:21 Never give your children as sacrifices to the god Molech by burning them alive. If you do, you are dishonoring the name of your God. I am the LORD. (This is equivalent to modern day abortion)

Lev 18:23 Never have sexual intercourse with any animal and become unclean with it. A woman must never offer herself to an animal for sexual intercourse. It is unnatural.

Lets take a look at what God say happens to a people that do these things

Lev 18:26 Live by my standards, and obey my rules. Neither you nor any foreigner should ever do any of these disgusting things.

Lev 18:27 The people of the land who were there before you did all these disgusting things. As a result, the land has become unclean.

Lev 18:28 If you make the land unclean, it will vomit you out as it has vomited out the people who were there before you. Lev 18:29 Whoever does any of these disgusting things must be excluded from the people.

Lets look at today:

Our God is a Holy and loving God he is warning us about the high cost of sin. He wants to cover us with His mercy and grace. The beginning of this is always acknowledging sin as sin without any attempt at justification. Look at one last warning from His word.

Rev 21:6 And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.

Rev 21:7 He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Slide15

Now we thank the Lord for the glorious cross. We thank the Lord for His Blood. We thank Him for His Spirit and for truth in His word. Jesus came saying repent the kingdom of God is at hand. We praise God that He came to help us be free here as well. In doing that He gave us a key scripture that shows where sexual sin begins

Mat_5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

This means that when someone fantasizes about another person sexually they have committed adultery just as if they physically committed the act.

Now lets take a look at the statistics in the church.

• 40% admitted to being involved in sexual sin in the past year; and 20% of the church-going female participants struggle with looking at pornography on an ongoing basis.Slide19

It’s people.

It’s husbands, fathers, mothers, wives.

It’s children, sons, daughters.It’s families, friends, co-workers.It’s churches, ministries, the body of Christ.Statistics only tell part of the story.Statistics represent people you know.

Sexual sin is an open door that leads to a state of being called unholy soul ties. Slide21

What a soul tie is

The Bible speaks of what can be called soul ties. In the Bible, it doesn't use the word soul tie, but it speaks of them when it talks about souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. A soul tie can serve many functions, but in it's simplest form, it ties two souls together in the spiritual realm. Soul ties between married couples draw them together like

magnets,cleaving

soul ties between fornicators can draw a beaten and abused woman to the man which in the natural realm she would

run from, but instead she runs back to him over and over though he doesn't love her, and treats her like dirt. In the demonic world, unholy soul ties can serve as bridges between two people to pass demonic garbage through. People can be happily married and really love their spouse but have ongoing fantasies ,including visual flashbacks of a former lover or ex spouse.

Soul-ties with an abuser can hinder Godly relations with a spouse, perverting what is holy . Slide23

Some people get truly saved in prison and then get released and are drawn right back to the people that they worked unrighteousness with and fail again.

Soul ties are formed when two or more persons become bonded together. Some soul ties are good, and others are evil; some are holy, and some are ungodly. Our Holy God has ordained and sanctioned the soul ties of bonding between husbands and wives, children and parents, friends with friends and Christians with one another as members of the Body of Christ. Both good and bad soul ties are formed from both sexual engagement and human relations. When life is live according to God’s instruction good ties are formed. Outside of Gods ways bad ties are formed.Slide25

Sexual relations: Godly soul ties are formed when a couple are married (Ephesians 5:31, "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh."), and the Godly soul tie between a husband and the wife that God intended him to have is unbreakable by man (Mark 10:7-9). However, when a person has ungodly sexual relations with another person, an ungodly soul tie is then formed (1 Corinthians 6:16, "

What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two,

saith

he, shall be one flesh."). This soul tie fragments the soul, and is destructive. People who have many past relationships find it very difficult to 'bond' or be joined to anybody, because their soul is fragmented.

Close relationships: King David and Jonathan had a good soul tie as a result of a good friendship (1 Samuel 18:1, "And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul."), but bad soul ties can form from bad relationships as well. Idolizing somebody can cause a bad soul tie.

Good relationships create good ties. Dysfunctional relationships create unholy ties. This could include verbal abuse,control.manipulation,physical abuse, parents interfering with grown children's lives (the apron strings need cutting) religious control from a ministry, damaging words. Unholy ties are formed regardless of which side of the

dysfuction

you are on.

You can create a soul tie with a rock group by becoming obsessed with their music. Which explains the strong pull towards certain music that seems almost irresistible.

,authors and anyone else you have engaged in ungodly act with. This include who you used drugs with, lied to others with

etc . The people you fantasized about with pornography or you imagination. Remember Jesus said if you do it in your heart it is the same as physical. Any one you did anything occultic with like

How to break a soul tie

1. If any sins were committed to cause this soul tie, repent of them! Forgive and break Judgement against the others involved.

2. If gifts were given to you by the other person in connection with the sin or unholy relationship, such as rings, flowers, cards,

clothing, etc. I would get rid of them! Such things symbolize the ungodly relationship, and can hold a soul tie in place. Slide30

I would still encourage you to get rid of anything that symbolizes the ungodly practices in the relationship though, such as if a guy gives a girl a bra and panties with his initials on them during fornication. I wouldn't encourage you to hang on to such things that symbolize sin or that are wrong to give each other before marriage. Things such as flowers and love letters given during an adultery should be destroyed.Slide31

Dear Yahweh my Father ,

Thank You for loving me so much You sent Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus to die on the cross for me and forgive me of all my sins. This day, LORD, I want to clean up the loose ends. I want to close all the gates. I want to sever all the soul ties. Lord, help me remember every event and every person in order to complete this work. In Jesus Name I ask. Amen.Slide32

Father, I confess that I have had illicit sex with people. I forgive those that I sinned with and those that sinned against me, I repent of that sin for me and my ancestors and I turn from it. Please forgive me. Then, LORD, I ask You to sever the unholy soul tie between them and me. I cancel all ground gained in my members because of my unrighteous behavior. I cancel all assignments against me because of my sinful acts. I call back the authority over my body and declare it to be properly returned. Now, LORD, close the gate I opened through sin and open the gate to your blessing.Slide33

As the Lord shows you break unholy ties. These can include:

People who have controlled you or that you have controlled.

Spouse, father ,mother,siblings,andfriends. (good things remain ,anything not of God we want gone)Unwanted and forced sexual encounters.People you partnered in other sin with.Slide34

People who have broken your flesh.(doctors ,

nurses,blood

brothers, tattoo artist and needle sharing etc. (not all is well in the medical field).
