You can return here at anytime by typing /spawn. The layout of the Map Room represents the entire Spawn Area (in miniature). From the Map Room you you can right click on signs to WARP to various locations around the spawn area, including the PVP Arenas and the North, South, East, and West SafeZones. Arenas: Challenge your buddies to a duel in one or the PVP Arenas. For a list and descriptions get the book titled "Arenas" SafeZone: The central Village area (within the green border - line). In this area you cannot get hurt by mobs or other players. Players cannot build in this area. WarZone: The area immediately beyond the safe zone which contains the PVP arenas. In this area you CAN be harmed by mobs and others players. Players still cannot build here. In the WarZone members of the same faction can PV P each other without losing faction power. Warp Points: Small pavilions placed about 1000 blocks away from the spawn area to the North, South, East, and West. These provide a safe place for players to warp to when leaving the spawn area. Wildreness: The REST of the world. In the wilderness you are ON YOUR OWN to survive however you can. You CAN be hurt and killed by mobs and other players if they attack you... However, you are free to mine and build whatever you need to survive and THRIVE! Sandbo x: The Creative Area. Only players with access can use this area. Economy Fortune and glory, kid... fortune and glory. The BlockHeads economy is loosely based upon the built - in game economy used by the villagers. The villagers use Emeralds as a curre ncy... and so does BlockHeads. Everyone begins the game with a small amount of Emeralds, for buying necessities. Players also earn a daily paycheck which can be picked up at the bank. and they also vote for additional Emeralds (type /vote for more info). Players can decided which items to buy... and which to craft themselves. Most items that are required for survival, such as armor, weapons, and tools, can be purchased in and around the spawn area. Purchases are made by interacting with Villagers and trading Emeralds for Items. In the spawn area, players can choose items to purchase. The Bank is a GREAT place to store your Emeralds for safe keeping. Players are encouraged mine for gold and/or emeralds in an attempt earn extra currency. You can also obtain your own ShopKeeper and sell stuff that you make or find. For more info check out the book titled "ShopKeepers" Gold has an exchange rate of 8:1 (8 gold to 1 Emerald). ShopKeepers ShopKeepers are special villagers that sell various it ems (for Emeralds). Some ShopKeepers (around spawn) are set up by BlockHeads staff to sell items that players might need. However, some ShopKeepers (in the Player ShopKeeper area of the Mall) are owned and operated by other players. These shopkeepers can sell anything that a player makes or finds and wishes to sell. Player ShopKeeprs are a GREAT way to obtain rare items... and a great way for a player to earn some extra income. Player ShopKeepers are given to Donors (one each month). Inactive Shop Keepers will be deleted and all items stored in the shopkeeper will be lost... so if you own one check it often. For more information about obtaining and setting up a ShopKeeper please visit the BlockHeads website, where there is a detailed YouTube Video showing you everything to need to know about how to get started. http://blockheadsserver.com Factions There's safety in numbers With factions players can band together and claim chunks of land that are "safe " from other players. Factions is a POWER based system... as long as you maintain your faction's power level wisely... it will be safe. However, if you let your faction's power fall "out of balance"... you could potentially be over - thrown. Factions can claim land based on their Power Rating. Adding members to you faction increases your faction's Maximum Power. Factions can temporarily loose power... if member(s) of that faction die (for any reason). Power lost due to death... is regained slowly while th at player is online and active. Faction power consists of 3 attributes: faction name᐀ 1/2/3 1 = Used Power - The amount of land claimed (1 point = 1 chunk). 2 = Current Power - The ACTUAL total power the faction members have. 3 = Max Power - 10 points per faction member. Note: 1 chunk is a column 16 blocks by 16 blocks that runs from bedrock to sky Players are prevented from (directly) building and or destroying blocks on land or accessing doors and chests on land that belongs to another faction. note: there are ways around this rule... so be careful. (example... creepers can still break faction walls) It is a good idea to maintain you faction's Current Power GREATER than its Used Power. If your faction's Used Power ever exceeds Current Power... then another faction can re - claim your territory, taking control of it. This is usually NOT a pretty sight. To see all factions' power levels type: /f list Other useful Faction Commands: /f ?,h,help [page=1] /f create me&#xna40; create new faction /f desc Þ-5;sc change faction description /f f,faction [faction=you] show faction information /f l,list [page=1] list all factions /f map [on/off=once] show territory map /f sc,seechunk see the chunk you stand in /f claim [radius=1] [fac tion=you] claim land where you stand /f autoclaim [faction=you] autoclaim when walking /f unclaim unclaim land where you stand /f unclaimall unclaim all land/f sethome [faction=you] set the faction home /f home teleport to faction home /f name new name䀀 s et faction name /f inv, invite ye&#xpla-; r [yes/no=toggle] set if player is invited /f join faction᐀ [player=you] join faction /f leave leave your faction /f list see a list of all factions and their power levels /f kick ye&#xpla-; r kick player from faction /f t itle playe䀀r [title=] set player title /f promote ye&#xpla-; r promote lesser members in your faction /f demote ye&#xpla-; r demote lesser members in your faction /f officer playe倀r make player officer /f leader playe倀r [faction=you] set leader for faction /f ally action-90; set relation wish to another faction /f truce ctionú-3; set relation wish to another faction /f neutral factionᄀ set relation wish to another faction /f enemy factionሀ set relation wish to another faction /f disband [faction=you] disban d faction Arenas BlockHeads PVP Arenas Let's Battle!
