Manistee

Manistee is located along the coast of Lake Michigan, just North of Ludington. It has 25 miles of shoreline, three harbors, inland lakes, and 270 miles of rivers. The Manistee River Channel was built in 1854 and is still used today to transport vessels to and from the harbor of Lake Michigan.
