Homecoming 2019 TACU’s Lobby Recently, we have seen an uptick of scams in our area. For your protection, we want to make you aware of a common example: Gift Card Scams. Anyone who asks or demands payment by gift card is always a scammer. Gift cards are a convenient way to give someone a gift, but are also a popular way for scammers to steal money from you. Gift cards are like cash - if you buy a gift card and someone uses it, you cannot get your money back. money for an emergency. They will then ask you to pay them with a gift card. Once you provide them with the gift card information, the scammers and your money are gone - without a trace. Stay alert, ask questions and learn the warning signs so you don’t get scammed. Hat & Mitten Drive 2020 TACU Scholarship Application The 2020 scholarship applications are now ready. TACU awards up to $2,000 in scholarship money each year. The money can be given to an individual recipient or be divided among multiple recipients at the discretion of our scholarship committee. Eligibility Requirements The applicant must be a member or a child of a primary member of TACU and the applicant must be enrolled, or plan to enroll, in a school of higher education on a full-time basis for the 2020-2021 school year. Application Process The applicant must complete the TACU scholarship application, which can be picked up also be printed from the website at www.tacuonline.com/scholarship. Once complete, the application should be submitted to TACU on or before April 1 st , 2020. The award(s) will be presented in May either at the Tomah High School Awards Banquet if the recipient is payable to them and the school of their choice.
