?Mercury Mars VenusVenus is completely covered in clouds. They do a good job of keeping the heat in and making Venus a very hot planet – the hottest planet in the solar system!

Mercury Mars JupiterBoth of these planets are made of solid rock, like the Earth.

and cold?Saturn Mercury Venus Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the part facing the Sun gets very hot (450⁰C!).But the part facing away from the Sun gets very cold (-200⁰C!). This is because there is no air keep the heat in.
