2. You have learned to use the standard algorithm to multiply 2,3, and 4 digit numbers by a 1 digit number. Today, you will estimate to check if your answer is reasonable.

3. The first three rows of a movie theater are empty. What multiplication fact tells how many people are sitting in these rows? If you multiply by zero, what is the product?

4. A Cineplex contains 4 movie theaters. Each theater can seat 312 people. Multiply to find how many people the Cineplex can seat in all. Then, check that your answer is reasonable.
