STEFAN SAGMEISTER

Born in Austria,

Sagmeister

moved to NYC in 1987 to attend Pratt on a Fulbright scholarship. His work mixes sexuality with humor and always tries to push the envelop of indecency. Sagmeister’s most notable work is a poster he designed for AIGA in 1999. The designer employed one of his assistants to carve the text of the event into his skin using an x-acto knife, he then photographed the end result.

JOSIP KELAVA

The last thing

Josip

Kelava's university tutor told him was that "The worst thing a designer can do is not get noticed. ” From those words, he understood that it wasn't about making something look good, but creating an emotional response that meant more than just a pretty picture. Take a look at his portfolio and you'll see he's done just that.

5 PROJECTS

Slide8

VUKA IMC

(Alexander Parker)

Not everyone wants to down a tall can of battery acid. VUKA is a different, all-natural energy drink that touts rejuvenation and wellness, rather than raw energy and excitement.

Through this campaign we targeted the working female or stay-at-home mom who rarely has the time to think of herself. We wanted to take care of the caregiver. Using the brand’s South African vibe and adhering the brand to mall walking subculture, the campaign seeks for VUKA to corner the market of low-impact energy beverages.

PRESSURE EARPHONE

(Farida

Khaer

)The pressure earphone was designed to measure the pressure of the user and alert him at a certain level by light and vibration to help in detecting when it is necessary to calm down, so it was specially designed for

amr adeeb as he gets really tense and too excited .

NILPHO

(Sebastian

Varandela

)Nilpho

, it's a tracking device for security for all ages desgined as an accessory aesthetic, The aim of the project was to design a wereable that will looks like a fashion product, as a jewerly

. The body of anodized polished aluminum gives that touch and it complements with a silicone band and an ABS plastic lock .The design uses an innovative lock system that it's easy to close in one step and when you push the side buttons it opens in two. The locking system that snaps ensure the strength and security in the use.

The waves in this design represent not only the

soundwaves

of the animals nearing extinction, but also their heartbeats. The flatlines representing the animals that have already gone

. Works

best on black/white, blues and greys.

GRAVITY HEADPHONES

(

Kyumin

Ha)

The positions of the existing headphones were always lying down on the floor. In order to increase the a strong presence of these, It was to allow the headphones to stand alone on the floor. As if floating in the air of weightlessness, it is very lightweight headphones

.

The weightlessness was represented only by the geometry shape and proportion.

Balance weight supports the headphone to stand alone

.

We no longer need to get annoyed while searching a unnoticeable headphone, or to get it to stand up

.

Now you rather just notice it in a flash, and pick it up at once whilst you go out.
