Denominator is the number of beneficiaries/items for which the budget has been calculated.
E.g
in case of drugs procurement, the beneficiaries would be pregnant mothers & lactating mothers. In case of ASHA incentives the beneficiaries would be number of ASHAs.

Under Maternal Nutrition, three important sources of unit cost are:
1.) State Drug Rate Contracts:
For the unit cost of drugs like IFA Tablets Calcium,
Albendazole
tablets, Iron Sucrose, FCM and Folic acid tablets
