Learn skills to assist patients with daily living needs while preparing for the Certified Nurse Assistant examination.Certified Nurse Assistants make initial assessments of patient condition and perform duties such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or transportation of patients.

They work in facilities such as hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities (convalescent homes), and long-term care facilities

: medical billing and codingLearn computerized medical billing and coding, patient registration, and patient health record management.

Students who successfully complete this program are qualified to work in hospitals, medical offices, health care insurance agencies in medical records, admitting, and administration departments.

Upon completion of the course, students can test for a national certification.

Vn

: vocational nurseEnroll in 22 month, part-time program for intensive training and preparation for a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

LVN’s observe patients, perform basic assessments, and report and document changes in a patients condition. They also measure vital signs, perform medical treatments, and administer prescribed mediations.

They work in facilities such as hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, long-term care facilities, private homes, group homes, and rehabilitation facilities.

TEAS test is a major portion of the selection process with interview, application, and BAS score sheet.

Medical Assistant: Referral at 12 hours/dropped at 17 hours
