What is Lucid Dreaming?Lucid dreaming, (aka) Lucidity, is defined as consciousness during sleep, in which the dreamer realizes he or she is dreaming.Sleepers are somehow no longer in a total unconscious state but can still continue to dream.They are aware that they are dreaming but can control their surroundings and even satisfy all of their wildest fantasies.Slide3

Lucidity Has Endless Potentials!Salvador Dali created the painting – Persistence of Memory from lucidity.

Elias Howe – Invented the sewing machine. He had a lucid dream and resolved an engineering problem.

Christopher Nolan was inspired by his lucid dreams when he directed the movie,

Inception.

Lucid Dreaming Can Cure PTSD!Suicidal 39 year old male was diagnosed with depression, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and alcohol dependency. He had re- occurring nightmares associated with his PSTD. This man had very traumatic events in his life and he could not sleep because of them. His treatment was to read a Wikipedia article on lucid dreaming then to practice lucidity (Lucid Dreaming). Sixteen days later he discharged himself and no longer had the re- occurring nightmares from his PTSD.Slide5
