4250 Lecture 2 Case 2 61 years old male previously diagnosed with hypertension and hypercholesterolemia No other known diseases victoriambelisleblogspotcom Case 2 The patient comes and complains about occasional headaches for the last three months which he believes is a result of increased stress at work Due to his hypertension and hypercholesterolemia he has lost weight and was prescribed a diuretic He denies chest pain shortness of breath dyspnea or paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea He smokes two packs of cigarettes and drinks a couple of glasses of wine with the dinner The patient is obese BMI 30 kgm2 Blood pressure is 190100 mmHg right arm and 192100 mmHg left arm this is not changing with position heart rate 84 .
