Sortie “Must Do’s”

Pilots, Observers, and Scanners need to take ownership of their sorties!

Anyone with WMIRS access can complete this task, not just Mission Staff

Take notes during the sortie to allow for swift completion of this data

Timing is critical in a real-world situation

Faster information to Planning and Operations will make the mission more effective

Accurate information allows the IC to properly determine mission goals

Training and Proficiency Flights are NOT EXEMPT from this process

Cost analysis is a critical factor in determining flight capability

Budget is always a factorSlide27

Summary

Train how you fight, and fight how you train

More details means less guesswork

Be familiar with the WMIRS Processes

When in doubt, ASK SOMEONE FOR ASSISTANCE!Slide28
