Whole application process is done via UCAS.

D

eadline for most applications:

15 January

With exception of Oxford and Cambridge Universities and most medical degrees for which the deadline is

15 October

Application process starts from September and its cost is £22.

If successful you will typically receive a conditional offer where the university states what conditions you need to meet to be offered a place.

You can also receive an unconditional offer which means that you are already offered a place- no strings attached.

If unsuccessful you will be sent a rejection.

Should you receive no offers or be unsuccessful, from the end of February until the beginning of June you can apply through UCAS Extra which gives you the opportunity to apply for a 6th university.

From June there is another option for those with no offers- UCAS Clearing, where there is information about free places at universities.Slide5
