3. The Coordinate PlaneA coordinate plane is formed by two number lines in a plane that intersect at right angles. -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 554321-2-3-4-5Quadrant IIQuadrant I OriginQuadrant IIIQuadrant IV  The point of intersection is the zero on each. The two number lines are called the axis.
