Galatians 3:6-9 (NASB)6 Even so Abraham
believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness. 7 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. 8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the nations will be blessed in you.”
9
So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.Slide20

Galatians 3:16 (NASB)16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as
referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ. Slide24

The Gift of FaithThis thing called faith.Faith is a natural thing. There was the natural sequence of need, promise, and faith on Adam’s part in Genesis 3:15 and now in Abram.
Faith is also an unnatural thing.
God’s promises seem so unreasonable sometimes because they are far beyond our reach or comprehension as humans.
Faith is always connected to obedience.
14Slide25

The Gift of FaithSteps of Abram’s faith in Hebrews 11:8-17Abram obeyed!Abraham lived (made his home in a foreign land)!Abraham trusted in the impossible, the miraculous!Abraham was willing to sacrifice it all!

Are you living in Him?
Are you trusting even in the unreasonable?
Are you sacrificing all for the kingdom?
