173 from high-poverty and high-minority

Survey Highlights

Several opportunities exist to improve PD opportunities

Only about 50% of teachers were satisfied with their experiences

Many schools have mentoring programs

About two-thirds of schools reported having mentoring programs

Pre-service experiences impact teacher successFew differences existed among the responses of teachers at high-poverty, high-minority and low-poverty, low-minority schools except regarding the difficulty of recruitment and retention of teachersSlide7
