Schools must follow the dietary guidelines of the National School Lunch Program

The committee will provide written recommendations to the Child Nutrition Director concerning menus and other foods sold in the school cafeteriaSlide20

The Wellness Committee will assess annually each school campus using all five School Health Index (SHI) modules listed below:

The Arkansas School Boards Association is updating their model policy

ADE CNU is partnering with a local university to research and develop tools to assist schools with their Triennial Assessments

Schools with Administrative Reviews this year will be reviewed based on their Child Nutrition Agreements, Wellness Committee meeting documentation, ACSIP
