Renee Cohen, executive director of Hillel at CSUN, said she was dismayed the campus would host a speaker with such extreme views. "I question why he was invited," she said afterward. "His scholarship is not strong or credible." But math professor David Klein said Finkelstein was "a breath of fresh air in a country where you can't criticize Israel.
