Tourette's Syndrome

Tourette syndrome (TS), a neurological disorder.Involuntary movements and vocalizations are known as “tics” and can be categorized as simple or complex. Simple tics use a limited amount of muscle groups for these involuntary actions. Facial grimacing and shoulder shrugging are two examples of simple tics. Complex tics use a variety of muscle groups and are much more noticeable. For example, a complex tic would be a twist in the neck combined with a shoulder shrug. Slide6
