by Sap Engineering Nikolas Petrus Alex Artis Steven Smith PLTW IED2 Sidney High School 582015 642015 Abstract The objectives of creating the mechanical toy was to utilize and compile introductory engineering skills to create a toy with multiple moving parts that is suitable for younger children in the North Eastern United States Brainstorming techniques were utilized to create concepts and determine parts and size 3D modeling techniques were used to create all digital models and drawings via Autodesk Inventor Standard engineering skills were used throughout the project for basic requirements Lastly modified communication skills were utilized as we created our toy and went through the design process
