The
labour link constitutes a substantive task for the National Employment Service (NES) in Mexico. The purpose is to provide employment opportunities for job seekers and help employers find human talent with the skills required to fill their vacancies.
The NES has focused its efforts on
the development of projects that
favour
the incorporation of young people into the
labour market. This includes the Portal del Empleo www.empleo.gob.mx, a web site with an online labour link service that provides information about employment, training and advice on the labour market.

Keys
for its adoption…Employment portals have transformed the way in which job seekers and companies are linked, making the labour
market more transparent. Launch the project
with an electronic job board,
and adopt little
by little
good practices observed in more robust employment portals and with greater acceptance among users. Use consulting experts and outsourcing, both for the design of the project and the development, maintenance and accommodation of the portal. Establish strategic alliances with portals of employment leaders that
provide information on job offers, as this will strengthen the project.
T
ake advantage of administrative records information from the public employment offices, as well as the available statistical information generated by the Ministry of labour, in order to include information on labour market behaviour
