Media Center basics…..MC access before school, after school, and during Power Hour
During the school day, you MUST have a yellow passYou can research, print, study, read books or magazines, use Makerspace area, or play a board gameBook checkouts – up to 5 books at a time, for 2 weeks. Renewals can be done at media desk – you don’t have to bring the books.

Punch in your student ID or show your ID to check out a book or a computer
If using a computer, take index card and hang on computer Slide7
Textbooks and class novels
Textbooks checked out to YOU! Each book has a unique barcode – that is the book that you need to return in May
DO NOT leave your books in any teachers’ classroomsIf you share a locker, make sure you know which books are yoursSame goes with class novels – each book is checked out to each student with a unique barcodeBE RESPONSIBLE for your VERY expensive textbook. Damage or loss WILL cost you $$$Slide8
