In paragraph 5(i)to (iv) of the above Government order, Government stipulated certain service qualifications, forpromotion to the post of Assistant, Accountant, Rural Welfare Officer Grade I, Extension Officerrespectively. In paragraph 5(V), it was indicated that the service qualification mentioned inthe now rules in the Gazette. Such concession should have been extended to Assistant andExtension Officer in the Madras District Unit also. The Government after careful considerationhave decided to issue necessary amendments to the Government order read above. The followingIn the said Government order, in paragraph (5), for item (v), the following item shall beinsisted for a period of five years from the date of publication of the new rules in the Gazette.3.
