1. Concept of Developed Countries.INTRODUTIONA country which is progressed with regard to economic growth, mortality rate and demographic indicators, high level of education and employment is known as developed countries.According to economist: “a developed country is one that allows all its citizens to enjoy a free and healthy life in a safe environmentis known as developed countries.Developed countries have industrial growth and enjoys the economy .developed countries are characterized by a low death rate and low birth rate as well. Likewise the country like Norway,usa, this countries are having very small population but its percapita income is very high and GDP and standardd of living is very high and hig hlevel of HD ect.

2. CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVELOPED COUNTRY.Per capital income is high.Gdp growth becomes high.Standard of living becomes high.High level of human development.Rich people and rich economy.Free health care.Poverty rate becomes low.Population is low.Purchasing power becomes high.Increase in education system and society.Lowest unemployment rate.Dominance of services sector.eg:usa,and other foreign countries.Self sufficent.eg: oil,gas,agricutural.

3. CONEPT OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES Developing countries are called poor countries or they are called as underdeveloped countries . Developing countries like India and china they are developing countries because of low percapita income and high population growth and low technological factors,cultural behaviour etc. China,Pakistan,Nephal,Bangladesh,Argantina.

4. CHARACTERISTICSEconomic characteristics .Demographic characteristics.Technological characteristics.Socio cultural characteristics.

ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS Low per capita income.The developing countries are characterized by low per capita income .for example the capita income of India in 2000 was 460 dollars in between 2018-2019 is estimated at rs.92,565 showing a rise of 5.64% as compared to rs.87,623 during 2017-18 as according to imf in2019 current prices is projected at 2,199 dollar. Whereas the capita income of usa was83 times than India.Heavy population pressure.Indian economy is facing the problem of population in the world India is second highest populated country whereas china is the first becoz of high population poverty becomes high. Unemployment.Because of high population unemployment creates lack of job opportunities disguised. Pre-dominance of agriculture.In developed economy agriculture contributes a very large portion likewise in developing Countries the POPULATON reflects the backwardness of Agriculture .Lack of basic infrastructuresThe Factor that help for development are called infrastructures. Eg: good road, highways, telephones, services, big dams, and canals.

6. DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS Population. In developing countries like India and china they have high population this shows low death rate and high birth rate because of low death and high death countries shows developing. Brain Drain. In developing countries like china , they have high population and low economic growth but they have brightest and talented students the brightest and talented students from poor nation to rich nation is called brain drain.Backward population explosion.The feature of developing nations is population pressure due to high growth and reduction in death rate . Inadequate infrastructure .Adequate infrastructure is needed which is not available in poor countries eg: road transport telecommunication health and education are not in best level.

7. SOCIO CULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS.High degree of illiteracyIlliteracy rate is very high in developing countries while in rich countries is zero because of lack technical education and training centers is necessary for economic growth and development LOW LEVEL OF ORGAISATION.Decision making power of entrepreneur is very low due to illiteracy world nation there is absence of developed minded leadership in economic activities Low self esteem.There is less respect honour and dignity of people in lower developed countries people are honoured due to their powers ,relation and castes instead of capabilities .Unproductive expenditure.Population mostly copies the style of population of developed nation Due to demonstration action in developing economies their consumption activities not only moves around their income but also depends upon the relatives, friends and locality
