BY MELISSA MORALES PRACTICE BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION PRIOR TO JANUARY 5 2015 IN OUR HOSPITAL IN OUR UNIT EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT SHIFT REPORT WOULD TAKE PLACE IN THE NURSES STATION BY ONCOMING AND LEAVING SHIFT AT NO POINT DID BOTH NURSES WENT TO PATIENTS ROOM TO VERIFY THE SHIFT REPORT WAS ACCURATE AND MUCH LESS WAS THE PATIENT INVOLVED
