We will also curate a preferred hotel program with negotiated rates for individual travel 3 Meet your Hotel Program Manager Matt Blume Grew up in the Chicago Suburbs Graduated UIUC-2013 in FSHN-Hospitality Management Track 15 years of full-service hotel experience ranging from operations to sales in Independent and Marriott Brand Hotels Have always wanted to integrate with the University System again and thrilled to have this opportunity University of Illinois System | Hotel Travel Program 4 What we will provide Source Hotels fitting your program needs and present options Negotiate rates and contracting terms Leveraging relationships and spend Less risk in agreements (attrition, cancellation, early departure fees, payment schedules) Anthony Travel has approval to sign hotel contracts Anthony Travel will be responsible to settle the final bill with the hotel Will develop of a transient preferred program. We will contract competitive rates for individual hotel reservations A streamlined process for securing and finalizing a hotel contract University of Illinois System | Hotel Travel Program 5 When will you reach out to us? A contract would go through the University of Illinois Hotel Program when the University of Illinois would be the organization responsible for signing the contract, paying for the event, and the venue of the contract is a hotel. This includes hotel meeting space contracts and hotel sleeping room contracts with ten (10) or more rooms. Anthony Travel will handle all the behind the scenes work with sourcing, contracting, and payment for the sleeping room block or event that is contracted with a hotel. You get to enjoy the process of selecting the property and will work directly with the hotel from the time of sending your initial inquiry to negotiating the contract, finalizing the contract and settling the final bill.
